Origin Shadowheart got Volo's eye** *companions only expressed opinions to the origin character who was the player avatar when selecting camp supplies for the night, they did not have anything to say if avatar and companion were swapped afterwards, so, I included screenshots below of what Karlach would say to Gale if he was the one who was avatar during the night, but reloaded and kept the save where she was the avatar instead **literally every origin except for Wyll (who can't do it) disapproves of letting Volo attempt parasite extraction at camp, so it won't be IC to do, but I want the See Invisibility, and Shadowheart is the only companion whose appearance I don't play with for fun throughout the campaign using the mirror, so since that runs the lowest risk of mod bugs
