i think one of my favorite things is like that i could show märchen movies and stuff and he’s from the 1300s so of course like i can just show him 99% of movies and he won’t know them and it’s new and fun. in general culture sharing is fun. ive tried researching how things worked where he lived in the 1300s too but you would be surprised at how little the google machine wants to give me about thüringen, germany in the 1340s

i (and the rest of my melton class) got invited to go to shabbat lunch w the two rabbis that teach the classes & rabbi r!! it's at rabbi r's house, since she's married to one of the melton teachers. i'm super excited about it! i know i'm going to learn a lot and i like all of the people in my melton class so it's fonna be fun
