Peter Rabbit Easter and Bunco party!  Prizes for Bunco were mason jars with chocolate rabbits and robin’s eggs.  Giant Easter baskets were made from garden pot and a pool noodle.  The giant eggs were on clearance last year and were meant to be golden eggs for a Wonka party...but might as well get more use out of them.  The snack display was from Oriental Trading.  It came with the cones, but I discovered that Dollar Tree Easter carrots fit in just right and matched the Peter Rabbit theme.  Carrots contained Reese’s Pieces eggs and Reese’s cups.   The garland was handmade.  I think the printed pieces came from Catch My Party.  I added the carrots to the design.  I used a stencil (free coloring page) to cut out the carrots. 

We are still loving our new easel, especially the fact that all three sides are magnetic. . I’ve been pulling out these @orientaltrading math magnet activities. This simple addition practice was really good for M who is just starting to grasp the concepts. And then I asked H to check over her work and see if he agreed with her so that he could get some practice in as well. . We’ve had these magnets for a while and I used to use cookie sheets for them. That definitely works!
