     L.Joe looked up at the sky as he sighed out, the cold rain causing a light puff in front of his face. Of course he'd get stuck in the rain. He stuck his hands in his pocket as he leaned against the wall, which had a cover over it in case it rained. He watched a female run around for a bit before calling out to her, telling her there was room in the shelter he hid under. He watched her come over to him and flashed a sympathetic smile.

That night Jiwon had decided to visit Orianna for another show; he hadn’t been in a while. The aerial show was just as amazing as the last time he’d witnessed it, and he’d waited by the back entrance to take Serena out. He’d imagine that in such a busy profession, it’d be nice to take a break and some time for oneself once in a while.

She’d suggested the small family restaurant around the corner, and he’d agreed compliantly. But passing through small alley had been the mistake of the night. A group of drunk bastards had been lurking, and the minute they decided that the pair were perfect targets, all hell broke loose.

There had been a group of five men, but when Jiwon had finally regained sanity, three of them were knocked out on the floor, one had run away, and the last was currently pinned between his own body and the brick wall. Wide gray eyes stared into dull brown ones that seemed to dim by the second, and that’s when he heard the frightened statement behind him.

“Is that a trick question?” She inquired, her eyes narrowing, momentarily, as she examined the male in front of her. What was she supposed to say? She had barely finished her show – it was rare that she’d be made to have her aerial acts last, but this was one of those moments. Which meant that she was out for her photo session with children that wanted to take lasting memories of the show home with them… all of that while barefoot, dressed only in a red bodysuit, as tight as a second skin, sparkling from the beads that had been sewn into the fabric. And, really, she would have given anything right then for a guy’s button down white shirt that she’d be able to snuggle and hide into, instead of that.

Now, her usual companions for these pictures were little children, still in awe from how one girl could do so many things – and how she could just ‘fly’ above the audience during her acts. With make-up still in place (more of it on her body than her face, although no one knew that), the marks her ‘magic’ left were covered, so no one would know. But, apparently, this one man that had decided to take a picture with her wanted more than that. She wished she’d be able to tell him that it was no moment for a conversation, but she couldn’t be quite so rude. “I think that people want to believe in magic. And that what we do is what they can call magic. But, in the same time, I see how this magic is made, so I’m a bit of a supernatural skeptic. Why, do you want to persuade me otherwise?”

"It was a curious question; I don't believe in mundane greetings," Jiwon smiled placidly, a lazy grin with just a hint of white peeking from between his lips. Having been in the area and like the curious stray that he was, he'd wandered into what passerby had been referring to as 'the best show on Earth.' The aerial artist had caught his eye, and he'd stepped up to speak with her more out of boredom than anything else. He had no interest in the picture.

“Thank you!” She chimed in response, about as proud as a mother would have been if complimented on her children. Then again, Serena felt that way towards all of the animals in her circus – they were her children. “And… thank you for agreeing to my visit.” She added afterwards – not a lot of veterinarians agreed to work with exotic animals, but she wasn’t the type to give up, and, when she felt that her ‘children’ needed to see one, even if just for a routine check, she’d find one. Eventually.

The tiger cub wiggled in her embrace, pawing at her arm, gently, as if trying to attract her attention. Eris was young, so that, at this point, she was no larger than a puppy, and easy for Serena to maneuver, although the other wasn’t exactly excited about the idea of the cub growing, she was much too adorable like that. It wasn’t as though it could be stopped, though. „She’s been a little… lazy lately. She’s usually a lot more energetic, but these days, she was a little less pumped. So I wanted to have her seen by a doctor.” She explained, inching a little closer to the male.

Hearing her sincere words, Sungyeol smiled largely. "Don't worry, miss. It's a pleasure, really.", his eyes rested on the small tiger of hers, who looked incredibly adorable. All cubs are cute, aren't they? Especially a tiger. Even in college, the veterinary couldn't recall examining such creature so closely. So when miss Serena called him a few days ago, he didn't even hesitate accepting the task.
