Exciting day! Queen cells ready to grow a larvae found at the bottom left of photo- located on the edge of the frame. This is a sign that this healthy, thriving hive is getting ready to swarm! The hive is growing quickly and space is limited so bees will leave the hive along with the old queen and the new queen will be born to take on the old hive. We are currently finding the best spot to set up a swarm box 10ft up in a tree on the property in hopes that the swarm finds their new home there.
