if u mean what we think about to cope w bad feelings, i get really anxious and upset about literally everything so i think about things that r soothing & rhythmic & not attached to anyone or any time. like kneading dough or crocheting or laying out pie filling or something. i just repeat the action in my mind lol maybe weird but its so unattached to anything but the feeling of it that it helps

im irish and spent most of my childhood and teenagerdom listening to american and english media and trying to flatten out my accent to be more understandable and mumble less and now im 20 and so mad w myself cause i feel so out of touch with the people around me bc i sound so american 😭 it sucks
