Indigo Tribe Headcannon
On the Indigo Tribes home planet (NOK) there would be a mysterious aura, a permanent haze of indigo would cover the land and sky while the water was a dark shade of blue.
The indigo lantern is hidden inside a cave in the highest point of the planet, the lantern is placed in a stream so all the water on NOK has the essence of compassion. As a part of βtrainingβ for the indigo corps, to encourage compassion the ring bearer would have to plant a tree and grow it,the tree literally grows from the compassion water, this shows you have great compassion for all different creatures.
After the tree is grown it becomes a home to that ring bearer, thus Nok is very naturally orientated, the local people often live in primitive huts or tents to avoid harming their environment so there is limited technology outside the lantern rings. The roads are gravel and actual lanterns hang to give light (basically itβs like if Avatar and Neverland had a baby)
