Putting my quick thoughts out about Fire Emblem Shadows. Summarized with a simple, "I like it, if it's a bit hard to play on the Shadow side when you're pinned out the gate."
And don't let people who're hating on it or getting in their redundant Among Us joke posts subtract from this:
It's the fact that FE could also have a future as an RTS (real time strategy) over its Turn-based roots. And it's a strange change that I would oddly welcome?
My favorite characters (excluding Lion!Dimitri) are Alberta and Carina. Gotta love my Panther and Bull Archtypes.
The story is simple/true to FEs archetype history, the music is good and the voice acting is on par for what we've seen in recent years. But we're literally on the first book, yeah FEs writing is nothing stellar, but expecting or demanding some great Elden Ring kinda story is just as tiring.
Overall. Try it, form your own opinion. And try to have fun with it.
