Cus like, yesterday with Joe Hills. I was "I should probably draw him now" at 10 pm. Today, I STARDED DRAWING KERALIS PAST MIDNIGHT. Papa K was wayyyyy quicker tho. Joe took a few hours. I finished him at 23.30 (11.30pm) (the final version anyways). And then he had the post, so yeah. Lots of writing.

Also, when I saw your tags on yesterday's Joe. About you mistaking it for digital from how colourful it was. You have no idea how happy that made me.

What if bird Sunday and bird Robin can't talk outside of the dreamscape?

Anon, I love this idea. Why haven't I thought of that??

I think it's confirmed that Robin doesn't have her own voice after being shot, instead she uses a voicebox. So for her the problem is solved when it comes to speaking. Though, she's a singer, a pathstrider of harmony, she would have needed to speak way before to achieve any of that. Maybe she underwent surgery in childhood to be understood by the cosmos and not just in Penacony.

Maybe instead she wouldn't be able to speak like her brother, chirp and thrill like birds supposed to is too hard for voicebox to cry and copy sounds of. So she's forever stuck speaking and singing songs in every language but her own.

Sunday on the other hand, yup.

I love this idea that he would be unable to speak, probably he'd leave dreamscape only when Robin is around so she could translate what he says. He'd definitely be far more mysterious to guests too, since he doesn't speak if he appears in this scenario.

Or he would use tuning to communicate, though since no one understands him it would be far scarier to suddenly hear Sunday's voice in your head.

Honestly I think outside the dreamscape they would look drastically different too, far more eldritch like instead of the family friendly version I drew of them. Though, I think all the alien versions of hsr characters I already drew would look far more scary if it weren't for my simplistic style (Besides Jing Yuan. He IS terrifying. Period.)
