I feel like the black sheep of the Destiny fanbase. My favorite character of all time is Eramis. My favorite playlist activity is Gambit. My least favorite character is Cayde-6. I'm solidly neutral on the vast majority of the human cast and couldn't care less about popular ships like Drifteris or Crode. I think 99% of the narrative decisions are good and make sense, or at the very least fit well within the boundaries and time limits imposed by the game itself. I think that the lore far outshines the gameplay and that we'd be better off focusing on the story and the universe it's built into rather than coming up with a new way to rehash the content drops for the 10 millionth time. I want Taniks to come back, but not as a meme, as a fleshed-out character. Few such cases.
