He's a friend of Alan's and had been gone during the whole burn burn incident and the noes events due to having to fill in at another station a few hours away (no, I don't know how that would work but I'm really interested in figuring out how a police officer's job unfolds in general, so I'll patch this up later)

• mental health is brought up a lot, and Quentin ends up in an institution because of Freddy at a point (if you have experience with being in one, I'd love to hear your description of how it all works. I wanna depict it correctly)

• I uh, incorporated Jake from Dead By Daylight into because I am literally the biggest ParkSmith simp and so yeah. It's not explicitly stated, heavily implied. I give no last name, but his description is mine for Jake (because they are internally meant to be the same) so yeah there's that

• it's set almost directly after the 2010 one. A few months at most. Quentin is settling into college, as well as Nancy

• on the mental health topic, Quentin's is brought up a lot in particular. With people being concerned about the trauma possibly leading to something worse and whatnot, so it's a pretty big thing

• Quentin's dad (Alan) is in this a lot more than he was in the movie. I figure that after the noes events, he'd try and help Quentin through everything in the best way he can

• I have begun sprinkling references to both the original noes and the 2010 one, because it's good to respect where your ideas developed from
