The constant fear, the exhaustion of it, is taking its toll, and eventually, it simply becomes too much for whumpee. They demand- or beg -that whumper finally get whatever it is they're going to do over with.
Maybe whumper grins, was just waiting for them to ask. Maybe they say whumpee beter not complain... βafter all, you wanted this.β
Or maybe whumper is disappointed, says they thought whumpee was better.
Maybe they claim they don't know what whumpee's talking about.
...Maybe they don't know what whumpee's talking about. Maybe they're not a whumper at all.
