What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received? I can't think of a specific one, but generally compliments based on intelligence or ability rank more highly than ones on appearance.

Would you ever run for president/prime minister? I'd love to be able to but I just don't have the confidence or knowledge to be in politics.

What was your favourite age to be? I used to think it was 17 because you're kind of able to do adult stuff without the responsibility, but in terms of the best age personally I'd say 19!

What are you afraid of? Death and being lied to, if that can be a fear?

What is a story that you love to tell about yourself? This one time I met Benedict Cumberbatch. He smelt great.

What fictional world would you want to live in, given that you could never meet the main characters from that world? Harry Potter, because nothing could beat having magic and going to Hogwarts

What’s the stupidest excuse you’ve used to get out of something? One time, when the Icelandic volcano erupted and there were problems with flights because of the ash cloud, there was a rumour going round that our English teacher was stuck in Benidorm so nobody did the homework. He turned up to the lesson (he'd never even been to Benidorm) and just laughed when we told him and we all got away with it!

What would you be famous for? I like to think writing 

What is the weirdest present you’ve ever received? This Christmas my mum and dad got me this year's Now CD, which is really weird because I generally don't listen to chart music :S

What’s the best present you’ve ever received? For my birthday, makeyourdeduction took me to London to see Richard III. That was pretty darn awesome.

What would be your special subject on a quiz show? Cabin Pressure, it's my favourite thing.
