i wanted to make a gem to test creating gems to sell but ended up liking the design too much so i’m keeping her sjdkfjsdkjkk

SO this is opsi, or star diopside. she is really nice but also SOOO fucking bored of mediating for all these stuffy gem politicians on homeworld, she misses the high stakes negotiations of the war lol. she’s kind of what you’d call a sympathizer to the crystal gems in the sense that she never defected but like, supported their cause privately and may have deliberately given the diamonds wrong intel on a few occasions. she would have definitely been a spy if rose quartz had asked her to, i think.

she’s good at playing homeworld’s game but definitely doesn’t care if someone’s from a lower class like an amethyst. whoever you are, she’d love to chat... mostly because she is so fucking bored.

her weapon may look intimidating but she’s never had to use it beyond breaking up fights or pulling it out as a threat. she’s good at looking really badass holding it, but not very good at actually fighting
