         apollo's child [ the brightest star ] plunges behind the towering architecture with a messy splash that reaches the sky, painting it in a faint shade of royalty. his eyes are glued to the way the crown falls from his head then ascends to the queen of the night whom peeks at him so shyly [ pretty as always ] through the interstice in the clouds, not yet prepared but soon â soon, she will come out and rule. with her pallor and the crown upon her head, when the hour is darkest ; she will be the glowing contrast as she sits on her throne of obsidian, acetic stars gathering around her [ like little kids skirting the campfire ]. but his attention is unfaithful and before long, he peels his gaze from the emerging moon, suddenly finding beauty in the way the fire nibbles on the end of his cigarette. watching as the ghost of nicotine flees from his lips [ in a small plume ] into the dusk. it makes him wonder â how does it feel like to dissolve? [ he thinks about the ones that would miss him if he did. he counts those that would truly care. ] a cold tear settling on his skin drags him out of his reverie and he looks up to her once more just as a rumble of thunder is heard. it is her time to reign. he steps back from the glass railing then leaves the rooftop. izanami is not crowded tonight, making it easy for him to sway down the stairs and skip around. he beholds the dim surroundings with the neon lights in his eyes [ rendering them multicolored ] while he leads the cigarette in between his skeletal fingers to his lips, sucking in the toxic he's pretty much grown addicted to. his feet eventually take him to the bar, where he leans against the counter â and it's times like these, he muses, when loneliness is beautiful. lovers dance, lovers love, he watches ; a few souls on the floor, others lounging about. though, feeling another presence beside him urges him to glance over at the stranger. a girl, pretty, new face. he smirks then tilts his head to the side, "annyeong."          " heaven's crying, i think they're missing an angel.
