OPERATION PRIDEFALL
If you don’t know what Operation Pridefall is, or you do, and you don’t know how to stay safe, you’ve come to the right place.
WHAT IS PRIDEFALL?
Operation Pridefall is a campaign from a group of alt-right 4chan users planning to boycott companies supporting LGBTQA+ rights. The group calls Pride Month “a code word for the degeneracy that is LGBT+ activism”.
And although the attack is directed to companies, it’s 4chan, and it’s also anonymous, and many people can relate to the confidence of anonymity. They plan to doxx LGBT people and allies, and along with the doxxing, they plan to suicide bate, gore, lgbt and child r*pe.
This can be very traumatizing for many people!
HOW CAN YOU STAY SAFE?
You can stay safe by removing your sexuality flag in bios. Don’t give out this information to just anyone right now!
Please refrain from interacting with them! Just block them, report them. They thrive on attention, so please deny them of that power!
Don’t share personal information on the internet! Although this is common sense, don’t share any info in any group chats, or any places where you don’t know every person there!
Hopefully this isn’t going to be a problem in the end, but just in case, please refrain from giving them exposure during Pride Month!
