still thinkin’ about how Nathan just dropped of the face of the earth after Jaden died - supposedly he left town after that and like they were supposed to sever all contact but there was never another word about him.

Some of that, I think, is just the way everything went crazy from that moment onward - no easy way to get back to Nate without breaking the narrative flow they had to jump right into for the finale eps.

Dude I’ve been looking for posts like this because I saw the promos and I was thinking - that could be fucking awesome, or completely terrible and sexist and dumb. But you think at least the pilot is worth watching?

It's definitely worth watching. I was a bit annoyed with how sexist some of the men are, but law enforcement is still very much a boys' club and it was all framed to make it look properly ridiculous.

If you're a fan of characters like Olivia Benson, I think you'll like the lead character Molly Parker. She has potential, though I doubt we'll see anything especially groundbreaking from her.

1. Best moment of this year?

I have two: 1) meeting, hanging out with and experiencing the whole Eugene in Eugene thing with Eugene Mirman and Andrew Donnelly. 2) Getting an internship without even really trying from Eugene's booking agent because he talked up my show.

2. Weirdest drunk story you can remember?

Well, the weekend after my event I decided to go nuts with the partying, and I drank an entire bottle of Blue Sapphire gin. No mixers. Nothing but gin. I was dressed like a post ironic t-rex and I had the weirdest conversation with a guy about the future of both our careers and medical stuff. it was odd. I did drunkenly call for calzones in which I handed my phone to my roommate to order and then blacked out on the staircase up to my apartment. I woke up the next day with my costume still on, The Lost World paperback in one pocket of my dress and the empty bottle of gin in the other and a sign around my neck that read "Post Ironic T-Rex". And then I remembered I had a calzone in the fridge so I practically cried and slept and watched tv on netflix in my room allllll day. Best Drunk Weekend Ever.
