openpogo化した後はipkgコマンドを活用してパッケージのインストールができる。

wgetが正常に動作するようにする

ipkg update コマンドがエラーが出て動かない。 エラーの内容は以下のとおり。

どうやらBusyBox版のwgetのようで正常に動かないらしい。 引数がいるっぽいので、ラッパースクリプトを作成する。

# cd /usr/bin/ # mount -o rw,remount / # mv -i wget wget.busybox

ラッパースクリプト作成

# vi wget.sh #!/bin/sh arg=`echo $* | sed -e 's/--passive-ftp//g'` /bin/busybox wget $arg

シンボリックリンクを使ってラッピング

# chmod 755 wget.sh # ln -s wget.sh wget # mount -o ro,remount /

ipkgコマンド

wgetを入れ替えてたら後は好きなようにipkgでパッケージを取得できる。

インストールできるパッケージ一覧の確認

ipkg list

パッケージのアップデート

ipkg update

エラーが出た。 どうもopenpogo.comのリポジトリが存在しないらしい。 リポジトリを変更

vi /opt/etc/ipkg/armel-feed.conf

# src cross http://openpogo.com/repo src cross http://ipkg.nslu2-linux.org/feeds/optware/cs08q1armel/cross/stable

リポジトリを変更してからだとうまくいった。

sambaをインストール

当初の目的だったsambaをipkgでインストールしてみる

# ipkg install samba36 Installing samba36 (3.6.0-1) to root... インストールにはかなり時間がかかるので気長に待つ。 ちなみに、samba3.6からはSMB2をサポートしているらしいので、パフォーマンスが向上する可能性がある。

smb.confの設定

smb.confがなかったので作成。 自分の環境に合わせて適当に。 ちなみに、自宅で使うつもりなのでセキュリティはあまり気にしてない。

vi /opt/etc/samba/smb.conf

testparmコマンドで構文チェック

testparm

libnslが無いとかのエラーが出た場合は、 > ipkg install libnsl

起動スクリプトは/opt/etc/init.d/S08sambaにあるので

/opt/etc/init.d/S08samba start で正常起動すればOK

起動時にsambaが起動するように設定する

/etc/init.d/rcSの最後尾に以下を追記する。

/opt/etc/init.d/S08samba start

ローカル環境でPogoDriveを介してコピーすると遅いのと、ファイルの更新日時がエクスプローラでコピーする時と違い、たまに現在時刻になってしまうのでsambaを導入しようと決めた。 自分自身へのメモとして、まずはOpenpogo化までの手順。

環境

日本向けモデルの「Pogoplug POGO-P25」

作業時点でのバージョン。 UIバージョン：3.1.2 サービス・バージョン：3.1.2.0

pogoplugへのSSHアクセスを有効化する

my.pogoplug.comへアクセスし、セキュリティ設定から「このPogplug機器へのSSH接続を有効にする」をチェックして有効化。 「パスワードを変更」で設定したパスワードがrootのパスワードとなる。

接続しているHDDを全てはずす

Webの管理画面から、HDDを選択し「このドライブを安全に取り外す」を実行する。

USBメモリのフォーマット

OpenpogoをインストールするUSBメモリのフォーマットを行う。

フォーマットツールをダウンロードする。

以下のアドレスから取得する http://plugapps.com/os/pogoplug/mke2fs ダウンロードしたツールに実行権限を追加

# cd /tmp # wget http://plugapps.com/os/pogoplug/mke2fs # chmod 755 mke2fs

pogoplugのデーモンプロセスを停止する。

「hbwd」というプロセスを一時的に停止。 pogoplugの機能を利用不可にする。

# killall hbwd

USMメモリをさして、デバイスの確認

利用したいUSBメモリをさす。 どのデバイスを利用しているかを確認。

# /sbin/fdisk -l Disk /dev/sdb: 4009 MB, 4009754624 bytes 145 heads, 48 sectors/track, 1125 cylinders Units = cylinders of 6960 * 512 = 3563520 bytes Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System /dev/sdb1 * 1 1126 3915752 b Win95 FAT32

WinXPで4GBのUSBメモリをfat32でフォーマットした物をさした時は上記のようになった。 sdbにパーティションsdb1が１つ存在している状態。 ちなみに、背面の一番下（3つ目）のポートにさした。

USBメモリの内容を削除して、新規にパーティションを作成

確認したデバイスのUSBメモリのパーティションを再作成する。 fdiskのログは以下のとおり。

USBメモリをフォーマットする。

作成したパーティションをフォーマットする。 fdiskでパーティションを確認。

sdb1のパーティションが新規作成したやつなので、そこにダウンロードしてきたmke2fsコマンドでフォーマットする。

USBメモリを抜いてから再起動

フォーマットしたUSBメモリを抜く。 再起動は、以下のコマンド。

/sbin/reboot

OpenPogoをインストールする

再起動したらUSBメモリを差し込んで確認。

sad1のデバイスとして認識されていた。 マウントされたした箇所は > mnt_sda1 という名称になっていた。

USBのマウントポイントに移動する。

後の作業はUSB内でしたほうが楽そうなので移動しとく。

# cd /tmp/.cemnt/mnt_sda1/

openpogoをダウンロードして解凍

ここにある。 http://www.pogoplugged.com/download/12124/Create-an-openpogo-base-system-on-a-USB-drive/ pogodriveやSCPを使ってUSBメモリ内に転送してもいいが、今回はwgetで取得しとく。

# wget http://www.pogoplugged.com/downloads/file/1656/opt.tar.gz

USB内に保存できたら解凍

# tar zxvf opt.tar.gz

USBメモリの直下に、「.opt」ディレクトリが出来ているはず。

ルートディレクトリをリマウント

/optディレクトリをopenpogo用のディレクトリにしたり、起動用スクリプトを修正したりするので、書き込み可能なようにリマウントする。

# mount -o rw,remount /

optにシンボリックリンクを作成する。

/optに/tmp/mnt_opt/.optのシンボリックリンクを作成する。 まだ/tmp/mnt_opt/.optは存在していないはずだが、後に記述する起動スクリプトの中でそこにopenpogoがマウントされるようになる。

# ln -s /tmp/mnt_opt/.opt /opt

起動スクリプトの作成

openpogoが起動時に自動的に有効化されるように、起動スクリプトを作成する。

/etc/init.d/mount_opt の作成

起動時に/tmp/mnt_opt/にマウントしくれるスクリプトはopenpogoにあるので、それをコピーしとく。

# cp /tmp/.cemnt/mnt_sda1/.opt/mount_opt /etc/init.d/ # chmod 755 /etc/init.d/mount_opt

うまくマウントされなかったので調べてみると、/dev/sdaの認識のタイミングでうまくいかないらしい。 後述するrcSにスリープを入れることで対応した。

rcSの修正

念のため、バックアップを取ってから最後尾に追記。

# cp /etc/init.d/rcS /etc/init.d/rcS.back

起動スクリプトの修正。 最後にopenpogoをインストールしてあるUSBをマウントして、initi処理がかかるようにする。

# vi /etc/init.d/rcS ## 以下を最後尾に追記 ## デバイスの認識に時間がかかってマウントに失敗していたのでsleepを5分入れた sleep 300 /etc/init.d/mount_opt /opt/etc/init

/etc/profile の修正

以下のとおりに作成する。

# vi /etc/profile #!/bin/bash export PATH=/opt/bin:/opt/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/bin:/sbin

本体の再起動

再起動して確認する。

# /sbin/reboot

起動後の確認。

# cd /opt

マウントされていてディレクトリに移動できていればOK。

とりあえず開けてみました。

最初から問題が発生。

調べていた基板と構造が違っていました。

ピンクのコネクタは何なのでしょうか？

4ピンの方の仕様が変わってなければ問題ないのですが、、、。

調べねば、、、。

参考にしたフォーラム。

少しの望みをもっていたPogoplugですがcronが動いて居ない模様。

これで考えていた打つ手がなくなりました。

外付けのUSBメモリにはアクセスできるので普通のPogoplugとして使用し続けることは可能な状態です。

ケースを開け、RS232-TTL変換アダプタを使って接続すればリカバリできることが分かりました。（参照情報）

とりあえずケースを開けてからアダプタを買うか考えたいと思います。

以前PogoplugをOpenPogo化し、python、cronをインストールしたことをお伝えしました。

しかし、今朝やってしまいました、、、。

なにをやってしまったかというと...

ログインシェルを変更しようとして/etc/passwdを書き換えたらsshでログインできなくなってしまいました。

唯一の救いはPogoplugとしての機能は有効になっているので単なる箱にならなかったことでしょうか？

また、cronでスクリプト実行を設定しているファイルがPogoplugの共有機能で修正できるので、なんとかできないかと色々チャレンジしてみたいと思います。

Pogoplugを買ったのは共有機能を使うためだけではありませんでした。

自宅サーバとしても使えると考え、購入したのです。

Linux化するには2種類の方法があります。

OpenPogo

PlugApps Linux

この2つのどちらかを選択し、設定する必要があります。

Pogoplugの機能はそのままに使いたいため、今回はOpenPogo化を選びました。

色々調べていると以前の方法のままではOpenPogo化できないことが分かりました。

今回参考にしたサイトはPogoplugをWebサーバ化 (その1)。

私は8GのUSBメモリに設定しました。

ipkgでpythonとcronをインストールし、easy_installでweepyも入れてみました。

今定期的に実行している燕三条FavBotを移行したり、開発サーバとして使うことを予定しています。

放置気味ですけど、、、。

OpenPogoとは直接関係ないのですがPlugApps LinuxのサイトにWarningsとして

My.pogoplug.com will no longer work.

と書かれているのが気になりました。

Pogoplugを購入したいと考えている方は注意が必要なのかもしれません。
