The opening starts with this, and the symbolism here probably isn’t lost on anyone, though I’m unsure if the sapling symbolizes Kawaki or the young shinobi, the kings, as a whole.

I suppose it could symbolize all of them, for in the very next scene we have the four most important teams of young shinobi. Sumire’s missing though, from the whole opening at that, so I suppose she won’t get much attention in the upcoming fillers.

I like the pics of Team 10 in the rain. Yes, I know Team 7 was there too, but I like Team 10 more so they get some extra screen time on this post.

The big bros on a rescue mission! I wonder if this means that Himawari’s gonna get more screen time in the fillers to come?

This is the pic that shows the best how Mitsuki’s again slipping closer to the manga’s art style, and I’m not sure I like it... I think I prefer the look he has in his own arc, where his features are much softer. Also, yay for Kawaki wearing his headband around his neck! 

Just adding this ‘cause it’s the whole Team 7 together! And a clearer view of Kawaki’s new necklace.

And of course, sage mode Mitsuki. It’d feel kinda dumb if it was added just because, so... filler where Mitsuki uses sage mode? Perhaps even a Mitsuki centered one? ...Too hopeful?

Anyway, I like this opening. Not sure of the lyrics since I haven’t found an English translation yet nor a Japanese version where I could slowly try to make out the words by reading, but that’ll turn up eventually, I’m sure.
