DETAILS INCLUDE: they're the classic opposites attract sort of dynamic, loosely based off of bill and frank from the last of us. your muse is more grumpy, closed off and probably answers to things by fighting where as xavier is the exact opposite. soft, social, a pacifist. they really have such a nice balance and bring out the best in one another. your muse helps xavier to not let people walk all over him while xavier does their best to calm your muse down. i imagined them being husbands but i'm so open to basing it off of chemistry and going from there, if you prefer!

these three are essentially kindred spirits. they’re a group of friends that found one another during difficult times and figured they might as well all chip in and find somewhere decent to live. they’ve been living in the same flat together for around 3 years now and are all members of the lgbtqia+ community. I feel like they have their traditions now, like weekly movie nights and taco tuesdays, it just feels like it’s something they’d do.

they met during college in boston, massachusetts. jonah had moved there to attend harvard medical school. it’s up to you whether your character was also attending there or somewhere different. they were introduced by mutual friends when jonah was 22, due to their shared interest in hiking. it wasn’t long until they hit it off and the pair soon became inseparable. within two years they’d had a baby and luke arrived on the scene, cementing their already blossoming relationship. they moved to a place in chestnut hill, renovating a house together. five years later, however, your character and luke were involved in a car accident, the 5-year-old passing away later that night. after that, things were never quite the same, something that finally cumulated two years later in jonah having a complete breakdown and walking out on both her and his job at the hospital, telling her quite bluntly that they had nothing in common now other than a grave (something he has always regretted). that was when he moved back home to the uk and to london as his younger sister had moved there. as for how their relationship stands now, that’s something we can discuss and plan out together. obviously they were in different countries for some time.

since then they’ve worked tirelessly to get to a good place again, something they are now very much at. the girls have been travelling back and forth to london for holidays for a couple of years. it’s up to you how long your character’s been in london now and the reason for deciding to make the move.

as a ballerina, bea’s life is supposed to be structured and poised, but that’s far from her truth. she was born and raised in brazil and was quickly thrown into the world of dancing, attending the highest ranking academy that she could, set to train for years in the hopes of becoming a prima ballerina. her family was proud of her, and when she landed a spot in one of the local ballet companies, she felt like she’d accomplished her goal. but things quickly took a turn when she fell for her dance instructor, and they soon became entangled in a secret romance. bea knew that their relationship was against the rules but she didn’t care much, knowing that she could get away with it as long as they kept things in the privacy of their own homes. eventually they got caught in a heated moment in a broom closet, and after negotiating with the director of the company, it was decided that they would no longer be able to work together. in her embarrassment, bea left him a goodbye letter and jetted off to england, and she’s been here ever since. whatever happens next can definitely be plotted out, and i’d love to see where things take this pairing, as the possibilities are endless!

  they come from a somewhat wealthy family. mori and his sister truly love each other but sometimes it’s hard to tell with how much they bicker and take jabs at each other. i imagine that she went off to do something fun and exciting while mori went to university for theater studies / directing maybe for a prolonged period but she doesn’t have to be. regardless they are close and together often, supporting each other through random judgements and jabs along with the uplifting compliments, advice, and worries. we can definitely plot more out about this if you are interested.

the wells family are a large, tight-knit family, well-known around notting hill. nell's parents are big hippies, home-schooling all their kids, allowing them to roam around, doing whatever they wanted, they are still good kids though. they've all mostly chosen to stay in the notting hill area, some even living with each other, they also all play a musical instrument, nell plays the drums.

val has never been good at expressing her feelings, and that was the ultimate downfall of her relationship. they met when val was in her early twenties, quickly forming a bond that she’d been unable to form with anyone else, and it was easy for her to get attached to them. their relationship was well-balanced and loving, most of their free time spent together, and it was clear that they were inseparable for a good portion of the time they were together. but because of how cold she can come across and how immersed she can get in her art, their over-a-decade-long relationship began to lose its passion one she started making a name for herself in the art world. their split was amicable, but val has a lot of regrets about how she handled things when they were still together, and it’s made it hard for her to move on, instead becoming even more work-foused. she definitely still has feelings for this person, but she has a hard time expressing that she wants to be with them, so they’re currently in an awkward limbo-state where neither of them wants to make a move. i’d definitely love to hash out details and see what kind of angst and feelings we can cook up!
