DETAILS INCLUDE: dee is the black sheep of the family, while this character is the golden child. this never hindered dee’s love for their sister (call it twintuition). however, while dee never fed into their parents wishes for them, a corporate life with little room for dreaming — this character ate it up. they defined themselves by their father’s wishes. dee left for notting hill at eighteen and there were several years where they didn’t speak. however, they have recently reconnected because this character is getting married. i have asked to be contacted, but this is mainly just to talk about details of their relationship at its current status!

DETAILS INCLUDE: lacey's brother essentially raised them; their parents were young and didn't feel like raising kids but didn't want to get rid of them either.  when it was finally brought to child protective services what was happening, lacey's brother took off with lacey to avoid getting split up.  he is the only person lacey trusts implicitly so this would be a very close relationship.  he would not currently live in notting hill but we can hash out details!

  they come from a somewhat wealthy family. mori and his sister truly love each other but sometimes it’s hard to tell with how much they bicker and take jabs at each other. i imagine that she went off to do something fun and exciting while mori went to university for theater studies / directing maybe for a prolonged period but she doesn’t have to be. regardless they are close and together often, supporting each other through random judgements and jabs along with the uplifting compliments, advice, and worries. we can definitely plot more out about this if you are interested.

the wells family are a large, tight-knit family, well-known around notting hill. nell's parents are big hippies, home-schooling all their kids, allowing them to roam around, doing whatever they wanted, they are still good kids though. they've all mostly chosen to stay in the notting hill area, some even living with each other, they also all play a musical instrument, nell plays the drums.

DETAILS INCLUDE: after the death of her mother when she was twelve, rebel was sent to live with her older half-brother. they had always been close when they were younger, and as nervous as he was to take her in, they somehow made it work for them. rebel was given quite a bit of freedom, but she was respectful of that, doing her best not to cause more trouble than necessary. since she never met her dad, her brother became a father figure to her, and their bond is very strong because of it. naturally he had to deal with her attitude, but the two are even closer now that she’s also an adult. needless to say, he’s not only her brother, but her best friend.

DETAILS INCLUDE: Brian's mom can only be described as a groupie, caring more about her interactions with band members more than raising her kid.  Growing up in the foster care system, he was always desperate for some sort of real, blood family.  Part of why Brian relocated to Notting Hill was catching wind of his half brother by chance, and the resemblance to himself and his mother was too much to ignore.  All I really ask is that you look over Brian's bio to get an idea of how this muse could have been raised - maybe their mother settled down and raised him, it's completely up to you!  We can discuss if he knows about Brian or not later!

DETAILS INCLUDE: Saint and his younger brother had their moments of closeness but whether they stayed that way or not can be plotted out. I think Saint will always try to look out for him from afar even if they have a hard time getting close to each other now. Either way, it was just them when they were younger - their mom passed when the younger brother was born and their father was never great. Saint tried to take the brunt of their fathers anger. They were also in and out of the foster care system. At 16, Saint took off from home but the brother would have still seen him at school - this part likely caused at least a small rift between them because he just left and didn’t give the brother a chance to leave with him. Whether or not they stayed in London, or left and came back is entirely UTP.

DETAILS INCLUDE: These two have always been somewhat close, maybe more so when they were younger than now but we can plot that part out. Even if they would bicker like cats and dogs, they fought for each other fiercely and always had the other’s back. They are twins but they always valued their independence as well and took different routes when it came to interests. I would love to plot out the dynamic with anyone interested.
