Iago is not out for redemption and scoffs whenever such a thing is mentioned
He understands he's supposed to prove himself but that's hardly the same thing in his head
He does get better, however, in small ways- trying to live more up to your expectations and changing subtly because of his new friendships
Iago gets angry and embarrassed if people mention he's changed, especially if they're saying he's changed for the better and are praising him
Hans
Hans is almost scared of redemption and trying to be better if he ever even believe he wants to- he's scared of failing, of figuring out he can't, of you recognizing what he really is
Has large struggles with figuring out how to be a better person especially since he's more likely to act first and think later
Lashes out against it often- especially if he's made to feel inferior for not being better
He almost has to break down before he can start to get better
Zola
He wants to do better and he wants to prove himself and live up to Corrin's belief in him
Zola struggles between wanting results and wanting to do what is right and deciding which one is better is hard on him
Often feels like he is not good enough and tends to beat himself up over moments where he doesn't feel like he's doing enough (isn't enough)
Needs a lot of support and patience but really desires to be something better than he was
