Following the trend of Mythical Zoans, my initial guess is that Yamato is a Kirin, the "Asian Unicorn"

The shape of the back legs, the fluff, and the horns all make sense.

...How about not calling yourself Oden?

Really, Yamato’s super awesome, but as I keep saying, that “I’m Oden” -stuff is annoying. Its overused, too; it might be funny or hold more meaning if it wasn’t said so often. I really hope Yamato drops it and, if he needs some running gag, Oda will come up with something else, anything else. I hope that Momonosuke (or Luffy, but preferably Momonosuke) will make him drop it by declaring him as Yamato, Hero of Wano or something similiar; surely, he wouldn’t turn down a title given by the true heir of Kouzuki Oden.

Also, Yamato’s got a devil fruit. Not sure if I’m happy about that, but it does look cool... horns, pointy ears, there seems to be something extra on his legs... and are those flames!? I would go for some type of mythical fox if it weren’t for the horns... maybe its some type of dragon? Would fit the theme. But then again, the horns were there before the transformation, too, so maybe it could be some flame spitting magical fox? Isn’t there a name for that? Or is it just “kitsune”, like a normal fox?
