My name is Elisa Shoenberger and I’m working on an oral history project about women in the arts in Chicago. I’m so thrilled and honored to be a part of the Vocalo Storytelling Workshop! For my piece, I’m featuring a few artists who give back to their communities in different ways. The first artist that I’ll be talking about is Carron Little and the public performance art series in Wicker Park called “Out of Site.” For about 10 weeks over the summer for the past five years, Out of Site brings performance artists to the sidewalks and streets of Wicker Park.
