Whoah, tonight was busy. Who the hell spread the word about the bar this time? Eddie and the waitresses were constantly pouring drinks and delivering them, and he was starting to get a little worried -- so many people could only spell trouble sooner or later.

Due Cause has some Gabe/Crowls, but it’s mainly a Samifer fic and the Growley bits aren’t as… large as we’d like them to be, heh.

Now that was a face he didn't think he'd see...well, ever again. Angels talked as much as most, and so he'd heard of Gabriel's departure from Heaven soon after his imprisonment. And then he'd heard of his death. But perhaps those were more rumor than fact.

Castiel never thought he would see Gabriel again and he definitely never thought it would be quite like this. Not will him being human and dying, the other angel’s finally catching up with him. Blood seeping out and staining the cold ground as Gabriel pulled him into his lap. None of his normal ‘trickster’ behaviour could be seen. There were no games, no nothing. It was simply his brother trying to comfort him as Cas’ started to see black dots in his vision. 

"I feared you were dead…" Castiel gasped and shifted placing his hand over the wound which was the cause of his inevitable demise. 

"This wouldn’t be the first time I went into witness protection." Gabriel’s voice was oddly soft as he pushed hair from Castiel forehead. 

"I am happy you are alive…" Castiel said with a smile, no matter what happened before he was still his family- he still loved him. There was a hint of a smile on the other’s lips.

"I could heal you Castiel…you know I can." He tells Cas’ finally bringing up the single topic Castiel did not was to speak about. he did not want to be saved, he had done his time- so many years of it. Of being human  of coming back after death. Castiel wanted peace. 

"No Gabriel…I do not know where exactly I will go, but I cannot stay any longer." Castiel spoke without fear or hesitation. He knew what he wanted- what was needed. "I am done- finally." 

Gabriel pulled Castiel closer and frowned deeply. 

"But thank you for being here…thank you." 

Castiel knew it wouldn’t be too long before it was over, before he was finally free. He would have prayed not to be brought back but who really would be listening to him? 

"Of course brother…" Gabriel wanted to ignore Cas’ and heal him but he knew he couldn’t. The only thing he could offer was company  was a soothing stroke here and there and the idea that perhaps Castiel was not truly alone. 

Crowley looked at the clothes he was wearing, he was a bloody shoe, a pair of jeans and a shirt, he grumbled and muttered something while shaking his head.

"Is that what boys wear now? Weird.."

Gabriel?! I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD! I HAVE MISSED YOU SO! THIS IS SO WONDERFUL!
