Welcome to the 2025 list of queer adult science-fiction and fantasy books!

If you’re new to this dance, this list and the ones before (see: 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019) are my answer to every, “Where are all the queer/LGBTQIA/QUILTBAG adult fantasy and science-fiction books?”

The list is sorted by publication month. When possible, I included the specific queer rep, along with any side characters. “Queer” here is used as the inclusive umbrella term for anyone on the LGBTQIA+/QUILTBAG spectrum. The representation on this list is gleaned from reviews, readers, and the authors themselves and, even though I try my best to get it right, sometimes I get it wrong. I only include books published with a publisher, who are distributed on more than one platform, and had pub dates, as I have to draw the line somewhere or risk being overwhelmed.

Well, any of those would work but I love the idea of a safe word for shifting to a DR! I've been thinking about that myself but for my WR and honestly, I love it!! It would take the stress out of doing methods for baby shifters and it would def help whenever we're in some weird/stressful situation we don't want to be in.

Q. If you could travel to one place in the world, where would you travel?

- I would love to go to Japan 🇯🇵! Well, mostly for the food (since I absolutely LOVE any Japanese food ❤️), but also for all of the landmarks and shopping! When I was little, I was so obsessed with Japanese miniatures and candy kits, so going to Japan means I can go check those out as well! 💖(*´꒳`*)

Q. What do you do in your free-time away from sims?

- Drawing, dancing, sculpting, painting, sleeping... The list goes on and on 😆

Q. What other games do you play besides the sims?

- Well I’m not really much of a gamer, so other than the Sims, I do enjoy playing Minecraft as well, but that’s about it 😐 😂

Q. How tall are you?

- 5”1, still young so that’s why I’m short lol 😅

Q. One random interest of yours?

- Not really an “interest,” but building pillow forts?? 😂 I’ve been obsessed with making them because I can’t really go anywhere with this whole quarantine time, so making pillow towns?? Yes. 😋

Q. Current favorite band or artist?

- Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, ITZY, and IU 👍🏻

Q. Something you’re looking forward to:

- Releasing the cc project I’ve been spending weeks on~ 🤗 It’s coming out soon!

Q. Current favorite films?

- I’ve been watching wayyy to many, so I son’t have one to name off the top of my head ^^

Q. Historical Icon?

- I don’t really have one?? 🤔

Q. Favorite book and movie series?

- My all-time favorite book series is the Giver Series by Lois Lowry, for movies series, along with films, I have been watching too many 😅 The only thing for series I can remember is watching Crash Landing on You with my sister and IT’S AMAZING 😍🤩
