仏御前の滝 平安時代、平清盛の寵愛を受けた白拍子（しらびょうし）、「仏御前（ほとけごぜん）」。滝名の由来は仏御前がこの滝で髪や顔を洗ったという言い伝えが残っていることから。出生地も近くにある仏原ダムの湖底に沈んだ仏原の字（あざ）栃沢の集落とのこと。 もっともWikipediaによると、「仏御前」は「永暦元年1月15日（1160年2月23日）、加賀国原村（現：石川県小松市原町）に生まれ」たらしい。
この滝が2018年の大雪で遊歩道が壊れ通行止めになっていましたが、ようやく復旧工事が完了したということで、見に行ってきました。 久しぶりに見た迫力のある滝に嬉しくなりました。紅葉もこれからなのでいい時期に滝開きができよかったんだけれど、滝の手前にロープが張られそれ以上近づけないようになっていた。危ないからなんだろうけど、そこがちょっと残念かな。
