My next project is going to be bright and weird, just like the pictured glass sculpture that inspired it, by Dale Chihuly.
It will be my first time working with wire to make a corespun yarn! I’m not sure if that will be the whole of it, or if there will be a separate corespun yarn on thread. I do know there is going to be beads and some experimentation. I’ve been wanting to get a little more interesting with my yarn structures for a while, including the more progressive yarns I’ve done for the last two.
I haven’t had a ton of time or mental bandwidth to work on yarn while school was in session, but I have a little reprieve now! This should be fun...
