Onurothat is a wrayth deathmark of the Duatakh Dynasty, which is a fancy way of saying his job is to take out Deathmarks who break the codes and be assigned as ranged protection for figures of importance within the Dynasty in addition to a lychguard.
Also a grade A goofy goober.

Onurothat is a very loyal member of the Duatakh Dynasty and won't do anything that puts the interest of it or his phaeron in jeopardy. Takes his position very seriously.
He's a Wrayth Deathmark, which serves as backup to lychguards on high profile figures in the Duatakh Dynasty. They are more a guardian role than pure assassin, making sure to keep their charges alive. However, they also served the Triarch as enforcers of the Deathmark laws to try and limit high-profile assassinations.
He was assigned to protect Thea the moment she was marked as a potential vessel when she was around fifteen. Onurothat is forever grateful for her lack of survival instincts as it forced him to get very creative in keeping her safe and keeping out of sight! Had to really hone his skills and kept him entertained.
Due to this, he already saw them as a weird friendship and told her such when they got formally introduced. Totally friends now! Please get yourself into dangerous situations!
For a necron, he's talkative, mostly as he doesn't like long periods of silence left to his thoughts. He doesn't like what thoughts creep in in those quiet moments...so he often just talks, makes noises, mimics noises and voices of others, and making a ruckus when he isn't on the job.
Having to work in and around human territories, he's gotten a fascination with humans that is equivalent to a person getting into bird watching. He likes to take notes on weird human behaviors and steal things and make assumptions on their uses. Has a book of "weird humans" that he likes to share with others like a photo album.
He misuses his pocket dimension to store things he finds and takes. It is free storage space!
Has a habit of telling tall-tales when he doesn't know what something is or embellishing things to the point it gets unbelievable. Makes it hard to trust what he says is true or not.
Thea has tried to deny the friendship, but he just ignores the protest and wore her down... the reality is just Thea's energy and his energy mesh well and the two have become friends regardless. They both feed off each other's bad ideas and assumptions making a feedback loop of shenanigans.
He could just take out a target, but he likes to send them a card informing the target he's going to take them out in 3-7 business days. Mostly so they prepare and he has to try harder. He likes a challenge and figuring out the most insane ways of taking a target out.
He doesn't understand the things Thea talks about, but he's happy to talk about anything and participate in the extracurricular human activities with her just for the funsies.
If it doesn't have to do with assassination, sabotage, and being a sneaky bastard, Onurothat doesn't really know much and just makes up facts. Also so much gossip that he has to tell everyone who will listen because talking about the latest necron dynasty dramas is practically a full time job at this point.
Is a little murder hobo who will kill anyone as long as it is within the rules of the deathmark. If he sees another deathmark break the rules in front of him, he 100% is going to murder. It was once his duty to do so as a means of keeping assassination of leadership under control, as was one of the duties the Duatakh Dynasty performed for the Triarch. Given the Duatahk Dynasty is technically "dead" to other necron dynasties....the number of illegal deathmark hits has gone up.
The Duatakh Dynasty faked their own demise and have been quietly doing their thing under the radar so far. More to observe the politics before making a move and picking a side.... it means Onurothat has to really REALLY keep from doing his punishing job.... he does it sneakily when he can. He's making a hit list of other necrons he is going to take out once the Duatakh come back out of hiding.
Thea likes taking with him and maybe...he's a first real friend. The two of them always find something to do. She tells herself it is just to get information out of him (A lie given Onu is not a reliable source of information...) but it is more he keeps her from feeling isolated in her situation. She's pretty sure the Omnissiah will be fine she is talking to a pure machine, even if he is a dirty filthy xeno.
