OnS Theory & Analysis - The Resurrection
Hello everyone, this is the first topic of the surprise linked to another theory, thereofre, you might wonder, what it’s so surprising about this, but in fact, there’s more to dig in such a single word despite being simple. Therefore, let’s begin!
P.S: Theories are held within a neutral view and ships are excluded
So far we know the resurrection of humanity is a process on which the corpses of whoever knows how many humans were gathered and ultimately were kept in a huge storage which was displayed in early chapters:

And in the recent chapters, it was revealed what happened to other bodies that were thought to be gone:

Though, why do I question the resurrection if it’s plain easy which is as it was explained, it is just needed to fulfill the requirements in order to trigger it:

Have you guessed my dear readers?
First of all, the resurrection alone is applied to humans. It has never been displayed that a resurrection for a vampire and much less a demon was possible; but why? Wasn’t Shikama aiming to resurrect his son?
The difference relies that Shikama had his son’s corpse, ultimately, it is unknown whenever the corpse ceased to exist or is kept into the depths, but why do I talk about the depths?
One of the things that I find intriguing is that no matter how the story is handled, it always goes back to the main root where evil spread, and that is exactly around the cities that the Hiragi Family once controlled.
But focusing on the main point for now, here goes the main question:
Why are there issues or uncertainty with the resurrection?
We know that the resurrection means waking the dead from the eternal slumber, it means bringing their souls back to their bodies so they can once walk on Earth; alas, when it comes to the demons, how would such process even take place?
What do I mean?
Demons alone might be complex beings to explain, but despite that, they have something a corpse does not, and that is the very fact that they do harbor their respective souls despite not having a normal physical body like vampires or humans do; their physical manifestation relies a lot on a human they possess or make a contract with.
To some degree, it makes sense why Guren stated that resurrecting Mikaela would take the very same process they needed to resurrect humanity; because in order to bring back a person from zero with no phsyical body, with nothing left that made him exist on Earth, it’d be removing those shackles that bounded him or modified his entire being that made him a demon.
Furthermore, how exactly would they appear like? What do I mean?
Correct. When it comes to returning to Earth as humans with blood and flesh, there’s no doubt that if we were discussing about humanity in general, they’d preserve their physical appearance as they died long ago; but when it comes to demons whose appearance relate to their best moments of their lives or in the contrary like how Mikaela changed shape due to him being happy with both part of his childhood and finding Yuu again, the question would be:
-Will he return according to his age?
-Will he return from zero, as a baby or as a child?
-Will he have memories of who he was or will those memories fade?
At first glance, indeed, resurrecting everyone seems pretty easy, even how Guren paints it seem like it’s just bound to be that, but definitely, there are things that are left to the unknown and hopefully, time will reveal them.
What do you think dear readers?
Let me know!
P.S: The next surprise I hope it turns a bit mindblowing
