Journey- Don't Stop Believing (x)
Tabitha didn't know where she was going when she boarded a random train in the middle of the night. She didn't even care at this point, not really. She just needed to get away...mostly from herself, which she knew made her endeavor useless, and the only way she knew how was running.
Glass blocked out as much emotion as she could, and kept herself away from people, but it wasn't always enough - or maybe it was too much. She couldn't tell at this point whether she wanted to be the only being in the entire universe or actually do social, normal, human things with other sentient beings. Of course, neither was likely to ever happen, so it hardly mattered.
What really did matter, however, because it was grating on her nerves, was the depressing song blaring from the headphones the passenger in front of her was wearing. It might have been tolerable if the song itself hadn't been paired with that god-awful pink. Who the hell wore pink headphones, anyways? The song reached a swell, and with a brief, frustrated groan she ripped them off of the other passenger's head, slid open the window beside her seat, and tossed them out, settling back down with her elbow on the window and her hand on her forehead. No one needed to be blaring music at this time of night anyways.
