I, personally, prefer f/t or f/k for quite a few reasons, but I will list pros and cons of bothLive pros:Gets a better feeding response out of snakesIs more ‘natural’ (That’s all I can think of off hand)Live cons:Can bite and injure the snake when done incorrectlyThere’s no way to save them for future feedings if the snake refuses since they grow so quicklyMore costly than f/tF/T pros:Is safe and can’t hurt the animalEasily stored for six months at a timeIs readily taken by most speciesMore affordable
F/T cons:Â If not thawed all the way, can cause a regurgeCan be refused by some snakesTakes up some space in your freezerI tried not to sound bias but I do lean towards f/t :P

I messaged willow brook about enrichment to help switch over their ball they are trying to feed bigger mice and they blocked me :( any idea what they responded to my comment? I wasn't rude by any means...

My guyana red tail just ate two hoppers, and very enthusiastically! Was just wondering, does the amount of prey they should eat go up according to percentage of weight like with a ball?
This one I am unsure! The only boa I have experience with are rainbow boas and they are a whole different species :(Â

Yeah it can be either stretched out or curled up :P Larger snakes will roll theirs usually :)
