well we will see how it turns out - I hope it will be good.
right now we dont even know how extensive the online features will be, only that it will have some in some form - i think coop could work fine here, but doesnt mean its a core element... and idk but lots of fallout fans were like dreaming of having coop in the game - look at all the various coop and online mods for all the games - there is even one for Fallout fucking 2. (its horrible and bad, but it exists xD)
