The ceiling could dim or brighten depending on the time of day; highlight routes for fire escapes; or perhaps reflect the weather outside by providing a camera view from the building’s roof.  With Philips OneSpace, some of those ideas could now be a reality.

The OneSpace luminous ceiling  integrates LED technology with glass fiber textile and acoustic material, providing a seamless ceiling/lighting experience that now allows for lighting to be integrated into the structural design of the building, rather than added on as an afterthought.  The LED technology, meanwhile, allows for the lighting to be programmed as a whole unit, the uniform light creating a calmer working environment.  Not to mention its sound damping capabilities, dramatically improving the room acoustics.
