You can post horizontal and vertical, but if you want your picture to really pop, think inside a box. (You won't catch me say that with anything else.) The best way to do this is turn on your grid in your camera settings and center your pictures as you would like to see it on your feed. Always take two or more extra, from a slightly different angle. The more you imagine your picture in a square, the better it will do on social media.
