True Confession: Iโm not great at resolutions because I have no will power. BUT I truly feel that Iโm in the midst of a huge life change, so I really wanted to give this a New Year, New Me thing a try.
SO I started the ever so hip and trendy Bullet Journal to track my progress. Disclaimer: Iโm not very creative but i do love lists and colors so I used what I know. Not quite Pinterest worthyโฆ but it will do for now.
So as i reflect on the past month, I feel satisfied with my progress! There are many things I did not achieve:
- Waking up by 5am - 3 out of 31 days - Bed by 9pm - 4.5 out of 31 days - Writing a book - 6 out of 31 days (itโs actually 2 days but I cheated and gave myself ยฝ credit on days I journaled or blogged because I was still writing)
And I did surprisingly well at a few things too:
- Exercise - 23 out of 31 days - Drank 64 oz of water - 23.5 out of 31 days - Be Extra - 25 out of 31 days (I know I clearly could have done better here)
The best part is, I get to start all over again tomorrow!! I still have a few categories to work on (stop watching so much TV!!) And I added a few columns too (pray/meditate/be still). Iโm looking forward to continuing to make a conscious effort! I donโt want to wake up one day disappointed because I realized I didnโt push myself to be better. Every day is a chance to start over New. I can do all things through Christ who Strengthens me! (Philippians 4:13)
