Archery practice again and I was experimenting with a another different bow position to improve on my archery skill....Ahem! I thought it may be interesting for some to watch a woman archer shooting horizontal with an English Longbow. And to make it a little more interesting as well as more practical, one knee on the ground in a crouched position... ...I thought I would try a short distance of about thirteen feet to start with. I was thoroughly enjoying myself and although it felt a bit awkward and strange to shoot my bow at this angle, I was surprised to discover just how much I could learn from it. The main point I got this time round was about wrist control and how much I needed to keep the bow motionless and steady during the process of drawing, aiming and releasing the arrow; It was quite an eye opener. This style encouraged a fair amount of concentration and good small muscle building strength which was what I wanted as my main exercise that day, nice little workout! It was an added bonus to actually hit the target and sometimes even managed to hit where I had aimed the arrows. After a short while I wanted to try a longer distance, this time around 24 feet away from the target. It was great! . . . #archeryfun #archerypractice #bowandarrrow #bowangle #bowposition #cantingbow #croucheddown #crouching #downononeknee #englishlongbow #femalearcher #gardenfun #horizontalbow #horizontally #kneelingdown #oneknee #getoutdoors #outdoorfun #targetpractice #traditionalarcher #traditionalarchery #womanarcher #womancrouching
