She’s suffocating.
The struggling is automatic- she knows, deep down, it’s not going to do her a damn thing, but she’s choking on nothing- can’t get air into her lungs. The corner of her eyes and she sees her ship exploding- feels the shockwave knock her further away from the wreck of it, and towards a lone planet.
This was gonna fucking suck.
They hadn’t had no training- there were protocols, in the instance of alien life. However, their defenses hadn’t been halfway to enough. The first two hits, had told Sarya to get her crew out, and leave the ship to her fate.
She’d gotten everyone out except for herself, it seemed.
Fucking hostile aliens. Kerberos, she remembered- Pilot error her ass.

a steady sigh rattles up her chest. not trepidation , they are just currently on the wrong side and scorpia finds herself being pulled apart at the seams. unsure who to follow / unsure who to trust. but had grown up in the horde just like adora , only a couple of years older than the other , but around each other enough.
then they found themselves fighting against each other. and at the start , scorpia had no qualms of fighting against the small rebellion. but now faced with a choice. which one is right ? to keep following the rules of the horde or trust adora and the rebellion ? the thought gives her a pause. but scorpia is kind at heart ––– – almost to a fault. so she is quick to nod her head. and soft okay coming from her lips. ❛ i trust you. ❜

❛ oh ! right. sorry. ❜ blunders around with her size and claws. does try her best to keep control of both. but scorpia is loud ! and does not feel sorry about that. so loud in the way she cares and her personality , overflowing with affection and friendship. the horde might be a terrible force ( don’t tell that to scorpia yet , she is just thankful to belong somewhere , but she will figure it out given time ) but nevertheless , the large woman is a ray of sunshine in an otherwise frightful zone.
so she is immediately backing up , claws releasing adora’s arm. really needs to get better control of those things. did not grow up around her people / did not learn from them. must do it herself.
but this is perhaps not the best time to apologise for the accidental hurt. they are sparring , after all. all part of the training. all part of their life in the horde. the older class of force captains here to teach the new ones. only a year a senior , does not have the harsh edge of some of the other force captains / so she backs off immediately. ❛ it’s these hands of mine , i don’t know what to do with them sometimes. i hope i didn’t hurt you too much. ❜ her offending claw extended in a more kinder gesture , offering to life adora up from the floor in which she lay. there is a large smile on scorpia’s face. no hard feelings.
MONSTER HUNTING . it ‘ d been part of her family history for as long as she could remember ; vampires , werewolves , OH MY . if there was something out there that posed a threat to an unsuspecting person , hana song or a song family member would jump on the case ASAP .
which is why she ‘ s found herself in this little town , seemingly FULL of vamps . she ‘ d have to lurk around and keep up her charade as a newcomer , though it seems she ‘ s met an unlikely friend !
