who’s the first to wake up in the morning: unless she’s getting up for work, waverly is usually the first one up. she’s much more of a morning person. even if nicole wakes up, she’s harder to get out of bed. she’d rather just spend the morning kissing and cuddling and maybe other things.who’s the one to make breakfast: they take turns, but usually it’s waverly. before they got together, nicole usually just chugged a coffee and ate a pop tart or something quick on her way out the door. waverly makes sure she eats something healthy now and usually does the cooking for breakfast, but sometimes nicole still likes to treat her.who’s the one to serve the other breakfast in bed: nicole. she likes to make waverly feel special, and sometimes she’ll get up early and make her vegan pancakes with sprinkles ( even though she thinks it’s a little gross ).who would suggest a quickie in the morning before work: waverly, but nicole doesn’t complain, unless she’s running really late.who suggests they both ditch work to lay around all day: waverly, but they both know she’s not that serious. well, she is, but she knows better than to think it will actually happen.who chooses the movies: usually waverly. ultimately even if nicole hates the movie waverly picked, one flash of those puppy eyes and waves will get her way. waverly will happily see movies that make nicole happy, too, though, it’s just a more rare occurrence.who initiates kissing during the movie, thus distracting the other from the movie all together: both. waverly, usually. but if she doesn’t, nicole will. the difference is that nicole is more subtle about it, while waves just doesn’t even pretend to be watching the movie anymore.who orders lunch: if they have plans, nicole will usually take care of ordering, but sometimes waverly will surprise her with takeout at the station or a picnic or something.who steals food from the other’s plate without asking: waverly. not that nicole couldn’t, but she’s not usually a fan of anything waverly eats. who curls up next to the other and falls asleep due to a full tummy: nicole. waverly might be the one to sit in her lap all the time, but nicole is the one to fall asleep with her head in her girlfriend’s lap, having her hair played with like a puppy.who distracts the other from trying to work at home: both. waverly is more intentional about it, usually, if she wants attention. and she often wants attention, unless it’s a life-or-death thing ( which, all too often, it is ).who asks to go get ice cream like a five year old: waverly. she also loads it up with far more sprinkles than a single scoop should have.who takes pictures of their partner eating ice cream: waverly again. her whole phone is silly, random photos of nicole, often in every version of snapchat filter possible. also catch her taking photos of nicole sleeping with snap filters and sending them to the entire team.who makes a sexual joke about the dripping ice cream on their partner’s face: it’s not so much about the ice cream dripping as it is the way nicole licks it up that prompts the comment.who cooks dinner: waverly. she often gets home earlier, unless she’s on a case, and likes to take care of her girl. keeping her fed is one of the ways that she shows her love, since she’s not so great at verbalizing it.who cleans up the kitchen afterwards: they generally clean up together. one washes, one dries. they maybe get distracted by booping bubbles onto each other’s faces or by random makeouts against the counter until wynonna walks in again.who stays up until 2 reading: waverly. and when she does, nicole is usually cuddled up against her arm. normally, they sleep holding hands, but if her hand is busy holding up a book, nicole will find her way to the smaller girl’s side for contact.who stares at their partner while their sleeping: they’re both guilty of this. saps.who kisses their partner while they sleep: nicole will sometimes come in late and find her girlfriend already asleep, and kiss her goodnight anyway. waverly will usually kiss nicole to wake her up on mornings when she doesn’t want to get up.
