This wall is brick covered with plaster. It’s so old it’s cracking and breaking from settling. High top table I created. Just getting started on the refresh of this room. Its the main eating and bar area of the country club. While in progress of updating the ballroom I was offered the managers position at the club. This ballroom has come a long way!! We hosted a huge Christmas party here this past Saturday night and everyone who was at this same company last year absolutely loved the updates!! Made me proud. 1st video is before.. notice the popcorn ceiling, paneling, and the tin wall that had a gap left open at the top. The walls and doors and trim all the same old dead tan paint. The old out of date ceiling fans... I worked so hard on this room. My old wooden door desk! It was a quick and easy project.. the door was laying out by the dumpster and as you know the dumpster truck guys normally don’t get out and get what’s piled around.. so I saved him the hassle anyways and loaded it up and carried it away for him.. @camfieldryan built the frame and legs for me.. I went to town making the finish pretty.. just painted it a few different colors then sanded it down a little.. I already had the glass so instead of ordering expensive custom glass I just used The two pieces. I knew I had to do something with these ugly brown wooden blinds that were a mask to old windows that had been boarded from the outside... so I come up with a plan. They wanted me to save as much money as I could on this makeover.. so I tried to do what I could by reusing/recycling as much as possible... so the back of these little shelves are the paneling I had removed from the walls.
