α»lα»runΒ - ΖlΙrun - Olorun
The highest and only true god in the Yoruba pantheon. From him all things originate and in heaven he rests, a distant god but still close enough to be felt. He is in charge of change and universal energy (aαΉ£αΊΉ) and through the orisha he recieves his blessings from the people, as he does not recieve direct worship or shrines often. In the beginning he wanted the world to be formed out of the endless void of water, so he called upon the king of the orisha, Obatala, to do so. He is aided by his messenger, Agemo the chameleon, and is also known by many other names.
