“I know that some people are not happy because it’s not as heavy [as before] and has pop moments. Twenty years ago, it was only death metal, and today we have a completely different balance. I understand and respect everyone’s opinion. And I’ve come to realize that if someone says something negative about the band, it doesn’t mean it doesn’t come from a place of love. In fact, it comes from a place of so much love that they feel upset because we’re no longer the band they want us to be. At the end of the day, we are the band we want to be.” (transl.)
