Oldfir - Of Cutted Wings & Old Firs... Oldfir's debut has been in heavy rotation this week. It's the first release from Ifernach frontman's side project. Drenched in Black Metal rawness, & Punk Rock attitude, the second track, "Dusk And It's Fragrance", sounds reminiscent of The Stooge's "I Wanna Be Your Dog". Then the title track keeps the attitude, but it adds an eerie essence. "Acquainted with the Night" is a straightforward Black Metal barrage, with some mid-paced BM riffing.
