One of my favourite shows we were doing got canceled, it’s really sad betI had a lot of plans for it but we had to make room for other shows that we’re getting better ratings. I guess I’ll just have to watch old tapes.

SOMEONE PLS TELL ME THEY ALSO GREW UP WATCHING RAINBOW BRITE
I just remembered it and I LOVED watching it 💔 pls tell me it's not something super niche
I just got NOSTALGIA from one lil song I remembered from a VERY OLD kids show
Comment on who the Sloth is if you remember this show
MY CHILDHOOD IS CREEPING BACK TO ME, HELP
Just remembered an old show I used to watch religiously called "truth or scare". The idea was like, presenting these stories as like, is it true or are they just trying to scare you. It was fun, such early horror lover shit.
Savage comeback
Watching Barney Miller (1970s era cop sitcom) and they arrested a deaf prostitute. As the captain is trying to communicate with her after her arrest, it's going poorly. He doesn't know ASL.
The uniformed officer (who really, really, really wants to be a detective) comes up and starts translating. Turns out he does know ASL.
Because he has a deaf sister. All of this is background to explain this clapback.
Captain: (after being told officer's sister is deaf) "I'm sorry to hear that."
Officer: "I'm sure she'd love to be here to accept your pity."
Bonus:
She brought up the perfectly valid point that she wasn't begging, she was performing a service.
She also had a deaf lawyer & a deaf pimp or boyfriend (unclear, possibly both).
