restoring an old axe
A pair of belt hatchets I recently restored .
No makers stamps except a 10 stamp found after a clean up , de rusting , re grind of the dinked edges , the hickory handlers were dyed with leather dye then rubbed back with 3 strand braided sinew wraps added .
