On May 31, By Your Side: The First 100 Years of Yuri Anime and Manga was officially released. The book, by Erica Friedman, is a collection of the author's essays, articles, and new writings detailing the history, tropes, and growth of lesbian anime, manga, and media in Japan. It features cover art by Rica Takashima.
