Les Tambours du Bronx (Drums of the Bronx) are an industrial-style drumming band from Nevers, France. (It’s pretty much right smack in the center of the country.) What originally started as a one-off thing between friends eventually evolved into a band that is still active today. They claim to have broken over 15,000 oil drums and 100,000 sticks over the course of their career.
In France, most people have heard their music through the weekly Sunday compilation of the now-dead satirical puppet show, Les Guignols de l’Info, whose opening titles differed greatly from the regular weekday ones, with a frenetic montage of many of the show’s greatest skits, that was updated every year. (Here’s one example, and another.)
I recommend checking out their discography.
