I commissioned @oifaaa again to do a mini comic, this time a fan comic featuring my character Calyx with the two Lightning Lads from the Legion cartoon and the comics.
Because you don’t fuck with a woman’s emotional support redheads and expect to live.
I did hair fancy not expecting it to come out good but it did, and my plan was to attempt hairstyle and take it out and got to bed but it came out so good that I don't want to and now want to show it off. It sounded more complicated in my head than in execution, but it's based off of a hairstyle from a fan comic from @oifaaa for star wars (an AU where Padmé is a jedi and Anakin a senator, I think it was the part where Padmé first saw Anakin) and I love this. I adjusted it for my long hair and it gave me an idea of how to do a hairstyle from Phantom Menace.

So, y’all remember a little while ago I asked what AU you wanted me to write, and y’all chose She-ra, and I started it then completely forgot about, and I remembered like, yesterday and started writing it when I realized I’d never told you what AU it was, but then I had to go to karate.. Long story short, the AU is Horde Glimmer, but she and Catra and Adora are best friends (Horde Best Friend Squad?) and when Adora finds the sword Glimmer can also sense it ‘cause.. magic ig, the plot has to move forward somehow, so deus ex machina. They meet Bow who’s tracked it with his tracking tablet thingy and... ok I can’t spoil all of Chapter 1.

So today is my birthday and I can finally reveal what @frostbittenbucky commissioned the beautiful @oifaaa to draw so she could make me this (the pillow, the plushies are mine) 😑
My kids have seen it and now call it cursed because that is what it is. It is the same size as my daughter. Thank you Tiffany for this amazing gift. My house flooded this weekend and 6 full grown men have been in my bedroom to witness this. I love you so much 🥰

This is the first official comic of Blazing Bow and Sunbeam as Renner and Rosemary June, alongside Renner’s father Raymond. I’ve been in the processing of moving these characters to Blue Corn Comics. I decided, if I was to ever work for DC Comics, I did not want them getting their hands on these two. Not after all the sex scandals and everything else going on.
This was inspired from an incident involving my friend Matt Miner. Matt does a animal rescue service. This past spring he briefly took care of a newborn kitten which had been callously abandoned in a garbage bag full of beer cans.
Unfortunately, despite Robbie the kitten surviving this treatment and slowly starting to recover, he passed away in his sleep a week later.
