[ PICNIC ]: for your muse to join mine on a picnic.
First meeting prompts.
There was a small feeling of embarrassment that heated his cheeks. Clive fought so hard to be taken seriously... and he had been tasked with setting up a tea party for his father's new ward. They hadn't even been formally introduced.
But it was the dutiful thing to do, even if he was clueless. He asked for advice β most had a hearty chuckle for his predicament, there had only been a couple of helpful pointers. To throw a tea party he would need... tea. It was poorly brewed, and more warm than hot by the time word reached the young Lady Warrick. There were a couple of swiped honey cakes adorning dainty little plates that had come with the cups. He didn't know the plates were supposed to be saucers for the teacups, just as he clearly hadn't planned for ants.
Clive paced in spot. He only gave pause when the side door opened, and the young ward stepped outside. He blinked, then stepped forward. It was an awkward little moment before he dipped at his waist with a small bow. "Well met, Lady Warrick. My father requested I set up a tea party... I truly apologise, not even the Gods could help me."
