So Calum is a first class, respectable man in society and you are nothing but a poor girl from London who only got her tickets to America by stealing them off of a man at the pub you used to work at. 

And you see him, drinking on the deck and standing too close to the guardrail for your liking. And so there he stands, swaying on his feet while screaming “FUCK MARRIAGE!” like an idiot. 

You rush over to him and grab his collar before he can go into the ocean “Are you nuts?! Do you want to die?” You shout at him, his brown eyes are bloodshot as hell and a mischievous smirk is gracing his lips and you want nothing more than to shake him for being reckless. 

“We die everyday, why prolong the inevitable?” And you look at him and see in his eyes there is pain and misery. He’s trapped and this is his only way out.

“What if I can give you five reasons to live?” You asked and he looks at you blankly “Give me two days and five reasons to live. And if you still don’t want to than I won’t stop you from jumping ship. Hell, I’ll help you.”

And he’s quiet for a few moments before coming over the rail “Your time starts now.” Calum says and you grin at him before taking him down to the lower deck where the parties are at. And you can see genuine happiness in his eyes.
